Play our new game: Tiene Toa

Play and learn, and rise together… justice for all, at every turn.
Step into a game where teamwork goes beyond winning. Tiene Toa invites players to explore
gender rights, stand up for justice, and become part of meaningful change, all through the
power of play.

About the Game

Tiene Toa is a four-player team game where two teams go head-to-head.

Players collaborate with their teammates to navigate real-life scenarios presented through Narrative Cards. Using Rights and Support Cards, teams work through challenges, earn points, and help transform their town into a space free from Gender-Based Violence (GBV). The goal is to reach Home first, building knowledge, empathy and awareness along the way.

Why This Game Matters

Gender rights are not just ideas, they shape how we live, learn, and grow. We all deserve access to basic rights, dignity and safety, but still too many face barriers to these rights. This game is designed to build awareness of women’s rights, gender-based discrimination and violence. Through real-life scenarios and collaborative play, Tiene Toa players will:
• Recognize gender rights and the rights of others
• Understand support systems that exist for women and girls
• Learn how to respond to unfair or unsafe situations
• Build empathy, confidence, and awareness

Who can play?

The game is designed for ages 16 and above.
It is best played with 4 players (2 teams of 2).
The game is perfect for friends, classrooms, and learning groups.
