Vénia Mastem Daulass, 44, mother of three and widow from the 15 de Agosto community, faced major challenges after her husband’s death, when his family took everything from her. Without education or work and with children to support, Vénia survived through small jobs and selling vegetables.
Her turning point came when she joined the “Empowering Women and Girls” Project by ADPP Mozambique. Through a poultry farming course, she learned essential management and business skills and invested in her own small poultry business.
Today, Vénia is a successful entrepreneur, providing for her family, ensuring her children’s education, and inspiring other women in the community, proving that it is possible to turn challenges into opportunities.
